The feet therefore are a detailed map of the feet. During a reflexology treatment, the thumbs or fingers work systematically over both feet with alternating pressure. This stimulates all the nerve endings, sending messages though out the body. This induces a deep relaxation which encourages endorphin release and promotes the bodies healing powers.
